Working within the financial services domain, their is an expectation that the successful applicant will have an understanding of how to work in a regulatory based environment.

The role...
You will have the opportunity to govern applications and technology architecture for business domains spanning large segments of the business with both enterprise and solution architecture responsibilities. On top of this is the opportunity to help refine architecture strategy as well as engage in a hands on capacity with the development and engineering teams. A strong mix of software engineering and architectural knowledge is essential.

Key Responsibilities...
• You will help establish and refine architecture strategy within their business domains
• You will help establish and refine architecture principles, patterns, standards and practices
• Be part of governing solution architecture, servant leading technology teams and delivery partners
• Govern the technology backlog for their domains, working in close partnership with business teams to understand key technology objectives
• Sustain essential views of their domains technology estate to support strategic and solution decision making

Key Skills Required...
• You will have at least 2-3 years architecture experience working in a mid-large size environment
• A strong background in software engineering and development and a desire to be across the detail
• You will have experience forming, aligning, communicating and executing pragmatic and valuable architecture/technology strategies
• Experience forming and aligning cross-functional requirements with business stakeholders and/or delivery partners
• Broad and practical knowledge of cloud service providers of capabilities spanning compute, data, integration, security, networking and observability, including AWS or Azure, and serverless technologies
