The Communications Coordinator is responsible for the development, delivery, and implementation of effective engagement and communications plans and schedules that enhance engagement with both students and CDU stakeholders to ensure timely dissemination of information.

About the Position
The Charles Darwin University – Digital Technology Solutions team is leveraging contemporary digital solutions to transform the way the University supports learning and research, and how we work, to create a cohesive, integrated, and enriched experience for students, staff, and faculty. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for the development, delivery, and implementation of effective engagement and communications plans and schedules that enhance engagement with both students and CDU stakeholders to ensure timely dissemination of information.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or another related field.
  • Successful track record of managing communication engagement, planning and implementation within a large and complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive engagement plans and communication strategies that align with business & project objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability in effectively engaging with a broad range of stakeholders and diverse client base to deliver results.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills including the ability to engage with a wide audience of stakeholders with differing needs and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating engaging and innovative communications content to meet communications plan objectives, using a variety of delivery channels and mediums.
  • Ability to lead the development and execution of a communications plan.
  • Ability and experience in working with SharePoint and/or other common business technologies to underpin communications plans.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 7/8. The base salary will be in the range of $93,475 - $118,578 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $109,365 - $138,736 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
