Site Foreman – for a large, 100+ townhouse project nr Ipswich

Excellent residential building contractor with 3-5 years’ worth of work across Greater Brisbane already secured.

Strong systems and processes in place in-keeping with a tier 3 commercial building contractor

Report to the site manager and join an additional site foreman on the project.

Long term work in the area, huge pipeline of medium density, multi-res projects secured.

Permanent position l $110,000 - $140,000 + Super

At least 2 x site foreman are wanted by this quality commercial and residential tier 3 building contractor who has a focus on building quality medium density, multi-res projects. Currently with over 40 ppl in the building division across 4 live projects in Greater Brisbane, typically valued between $25M - $40M in construction value and are predominately large townhouse projects.

This position would suit an enthusiastic Site Foreman with a specialist skill set in finishes across unit and townhouse projects who have held a similar position for established building contractors or developers in Brisbane.

Initial project:

$40M,100+ 2 level, 3-4 bed townhouses located nr Ipswich of a good standard and finish.

Communal lawn areas

Communal swimming pool

Car parking

Reporting to the Site Manager you’ll be in a finishes foreman position, playing a key role in the management and delivery of these developments, ensuring a quality finished project.

Duties will include:

Manage and coordinate subcontractors to achieve high-quality finishes in line with project specifications.

Coordinate site logistics, including material delivery and resource allocation.

Ensure adherence to plans and specifications.

Manage day-to-day site activities in accordance with the programme.

Develop and manage both long and short-term programming.

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards.

Organise the completion of defect works in a timely manner.

Use Procore software

Prioritising site safety is critical, ensuring all site staff and contractors are following company WHSE procedure, ensure works are undertaken safely

To be suitable for the role it is anticipated that you will possess the following;

Must have multi res experience.

Townhouse experience as a Site Foreman would be highly desirable

A carpentry trade background

Experience finishing multi-level townhouses would be beneficial

Will have worked for established, reputable mid-tier builders or developers with established systems in place
