This leading retail and consumer products business is a massive success story, having revolutionised the sectors in which they operate and becoming a true market leader. As a long established Australian organisation, they have recently been acquired by a global listed company who are now looking to scale up the business, develop new product lines and continue expansion through enhanced global networks.

As a result of this acqusition, a brilliant opportunity has been created for a talented Finance Director to join the team. Reporting to the Global CFO, you will lead a small team of two and have a wide variety of responsibilities including:

Ownership of monthly reporting and analysis

Half year and full year financial reporting to international parent utilising IFRS and consolidations

Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting

Building financial models and identifying areas of opportunity

Business case preparation

Tax compliance

Inventory management, reporting and analysis

Oversee AP/AR/Payroll

Continually developing and improving processes

Ad hoc projects

To be considered for this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified, have 10-15+ years experience from complex organisations (open on industry) and have a strong background across both financial reporting (IFRS, consolidations, FX translations etc) and FPA. You will also be an excellent communicator, have strong leadership skills and enjoy improving processes within a fast paced environment.
