Are you an experienced Operations Manager ready to take the next step in a fast-paced and hands-on environment? We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented leader to join our team and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our sign installation and traffic control business.

About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will be the central hub for coordinating our daily operations and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. Working closely with our on-site staff, subcontractors, and clients, you’ll be responsible for scheduling, workforce planning, procurement, and compliance. This is a hands-on, dynamic role where no two days are the same—and your leadership will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage daily schedules for sign installation and traffic control teams
Allocate staff, equipment, and subcontractors in line with project and WHS requirements
Lead staff recruitment, on boarding, and inductions, ensuring team readiness and compliance
Manage inventory, order materials, and oversee warehouse operations
Maintain detailed project records from planning through completion
Assist in preparing safety documentation (SWMS, SHEQ)
Arrange fleet and plant maintenance
Serve as a key contact for clients, ensuring expectations and deadlines are met
About You
You’ll be a good fit for this role if you:
Bring experience in a management role from the construction or traffic control industry
Demonstrate proven success in operations and workforce management
Are confident with workforce planning and prioritising work to meet deadlines and are unfazed by last minute changes
Are competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
Communicate effectively, assertively, and professionally and able to delegate responsibilities
Have a strong focus on safety and compliance
Are adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks
Possess a valid driver’s license
Are an Australian permanent resident
