Coastal Feeds Group is a well-established Waste Transport company based in Murwillumbah NSW and is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join their medium sized family business. Coastal Feeds specialises in Liquid & Solid Waste removal throughout Northern Rivers & Southeast QLD.

What we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Coastal Feeds Group. As the Operations Manager you will be overseeing all aspects of our logistic operations, ensuring the efficient & effective supply of our services to our customers. This is a full time, permanent position and is available for an immediate start.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Manage & coordinate the day-to-day operations

Allocating & scheduling operations of 10-12 staff/drivers

Efficiently manage bookings on a daily basis

Ensure all after hours call outs are responded to & allocated.

Complete all associated administration generated with bookings

Lead & motivate the staff - monthly BBQs / toolboxes

Liaise with Mechanic & compliance of the trucks

operating Heavy vehicles

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience in Waste industry / Transport industry an advantage

Previous experience with one of the following Vacuum Trucks / Hook Trucks / Tippers an advantage

Minimum of 2 years as an Operations Manager / Allocator in the logistic industry

Assistant Manager / supervisor encouraged to apply

Good computing skills (MS Office Intermediate)

Good Communication skills

Experience working in a team environment

Good time management skills, pro-active & on the spot problem solving skills

Must have a Minimum HR driver's license (experience preferred not essential)
