Ezra is a 65-seat Middle Eastern Mediterranean restaurant in Potts Point, known for bold flavours, warm hospitality and a strong local following. Right next door, we’ve just opened Teddy—a 70-seat neighbourhood bar & bistro.

We’re on the lookout for a passionate, experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the team - someone who brings leadership, creativity and consistency to the venue.

About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role predominately at Ezra, while also offering support and mentorship to the Sous Chef at Teddy. You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef to lead smooth services, guide the team, and bring fresh energy to the menus.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading service and managing the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

Ordering, stock control, and maintaining kitchen systems

Hitting COGS and labour targets

Contributing to seasonal menu development

Mentoring junior chefs and setting a positive, professional tone in the kitchen
