Polaris Marine Group, with over 35 years of excellence in the Australian maritime sector, is seeking a capable and driven Project Engineer to take the lead on a major marine project in one of NSW’s most picturesque coastal towns – Crowdy Head, near Forster.

The Opportunity
Step into a fixed-term DIDO role starting immediately, managing a diverse marine works package including demolition, dredging, piling, marina fit-out, and coordination of subcontractors. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic project environments and isn’t afraid to get their boots wet.

What You’ll Do
Drive project delivery with a strong focus on safety, quality, and deadlines
Plan and coordinate resources across site teams and subcontractors
Manage budgets, margins, and reporting with accuracy and insight
Maintain momentum with clear communication and leadership on site
Build strong stakeholder relationships with clients, contractors, and team members
Ensure compliance with all marine industry regulations and best practices
What You’ll Bring
Demonstrated experience on marine construction projects
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
2+ years' experience in Australian construction
Practical knowledge in demolition, dredging, marine piling, and marina fit-out
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and technical services
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Australian Driver’s Licence (required)
Other Desirable Competencies
· AutoCAD
· MS Project
· Boat License or Coxswain III

Remuneration: Can be discussed based with validity of experience
