About the Roles:
Maxima have multiple state government and local government clients on the hunt for Accounts Payable Officers and Procure to Pay Officers. These roles are temporary, with varying durations, from 6 weeks to 3 months. Paying between $40 - $50/hr (casual) + Super.
Whilst the day-to-day operations of each role varies slightly, general responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that all suppliers’ invoices are correctly authorised prior to payments
- Ensuring that all purchase order and approval procedures are adhered to
- Reconciling statements and invoices
- Monitoring invoices
- Maintaining the Accounts Payable system
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing some administrative support to management when required
About You:
- TechnologyOne
- CHRIS21
- SAP
- MYOB
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated prior experience
- Ability to work under pressure without supervision
- A strong understanding of Accounts Payable function and accounting principles
- A good understanding of the operation and maintenance of manual and computerised Accounts Payable systems
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with relevant systems/programs, such as*:
- Current national police clearance
