As Team leader, you will oversee our portfolio of services throughout Echuca and Surrounds area and work to develop your portfolio. You will be the dedicated educational leader for these services. You will provide guidance and mentoring to the Coordinators running the services with the freedom to add your own ideas. The focus will be on leading and mentoring the sites with on the ground training and be actively on site to support the teams. As the region will be growing there is the opportunity to advance into an Area Manager position.

Roles and responsibilitites :
In ratio supporting the teams between 8-9am and again 2:45-5pm. Admin and compliance tasks during the middle of the day.
Basic administration duties – calls, emails, Kidsoft notifications, rostering.
Work in partnership with our Schools.
Lead coordinator planning session providing guidance and feedback to Coordinators.
Staff Records - maintaining up to date records and supporting staff in contionous professional development.
Inclusion support claims.
Support well-being meetings with coordinators for supporting children and their families.
Lead with child safety and compliance being the main focus point.
Lead weekly teams meetings.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager of any incidents, compliance and child safety issues or concerns.
Be the first point of contact for supporting the team with day to day issues.

Job REQUIREMENTS
Leadership experience in a childcare setting- ideally in the OSHC setting.
Completed a degree in Education (diploma or above)
Understanding of compliance and regulation requirements, with a desire for continuous improvement.
Sound understanding of the Assessment and rating process and how to support the process.
Ability to build relationships and mentor staff
Exceptional organisation skills and ability to multi-task
High standard of communication
Growth mindset and positive attitude
Drivers license (essential)
