We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join our dynamic team at our Port Macquarie Branch located at Settlement City.

As the Team Leader the key focus of the position is to manage and promote the Branch to ensure the provision of efficient and professional service to customers by delivering strong sales and growth, building, and maintaining quality through strong customer relations, and to effectively mitigate risk of department operations.

About the role

Motivate, train and develop staff to provide professional and efficient service to customers

Management of day-to-day staffing and operations of the department

Supervision of staff to ensure consistently high delivery standards

Ensure a high degree of security is maintained

Ensure administrative requirements are performed to a high standard

Monitor the overall sales performance of the Branch in relation to lending and deposit holdings

Deliver sales of CGU Insurance products and Westfund Health Insurance to customers

Proactively and energetically contribute to team targets and activities.

Cooperatively and encourage in achieving their targets.

Contribute to a customer centric and inspiring team culture.

Influential, persuasive, team-oriented and enjoy seeing others learn, grow, and succeed.

What you need to succeed

Excellent people and communication skills

Strong leadership skills

Solid business acumen and a personal drive for success

Demonstrated experience in sales and people management with strong leadership and coaching skills

Ability to analyse problems, identify solutions and implement change effectively

Previous supervisory managerial experience within a financial environment

Ability to problem solve and negotiate successful outcomes

Ability to motivate staff to contribute significantly to achieve growth by actively promoting the benefits of Coastline

Excellent knowledge of origination and branch processes

Sound understanding of material risks of origination and branch
