We have both of our current supervisors heading overseas to live life to the fullest. Floor supervisor in July and our senior supervisor pulling back to study middle of the year. They have both given us months of notice. Our senior supervisor is happy to step back after training you until she leaves December.

What You’ll Be Doing as Venue manager

Floor:

Keep day-to-day operations running smoothly

Work closely with our Head Chef, especially with new menu roll outs and customer complaints.

Set the standard for service and make sure the team is trained and ready to impress.

Stay on top of safety, food, and liquor rules and keep everything above board.

Make sure the venue looks sharp, feels welcoming, and operates like a well-oiled machine.

Costings:

Know how to read a P&L, spot issues early, and make smart decisions.

Keep food and drink costs on target while making sure quality stays high.

Run stock like a pro—cutting waste and boosting the bottom line.

Report back to the owners with the key numbers: revenue, expenses, staffing, stock, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing as Venue Supervisor

Leading the team during busy shifts and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Jumping on the floor to support the crew and keep the good vibes going for guests.

Handling customer issues calmly and professionally—always aiming to turn things around fast.

Helping train and guide team members so everyone’s performing at their best.

Taking care of opening and closing duties, including setup, pack down, and smooth shift handovers.

Keeping an eye on health and safety so we’re always playing by the rules.

Assisting with stock checks and making sure we’re on top of inventory.

Pitching in on timesheets, rosters, and whatever operational bits need attention.

What We’re Looking For

You’ve worked in a senior front-of-house or supervisor role before and know how to lead a shift.

Solid knowledge of food, drinks, and what great service looks like.

Confident communicator who can lead a team and keep things under control.

You stay cool under pressure and love the buzz of a busy venue.

You bring a great attitude, plenty of energy, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Comfortable taking direction, but also confident working on your own when needed.

You will need a passion for food, coffee, customer service, a love of our brand and our team.
