Assistant Pastry Chef

Suburbia Bakery, sister venue to Seven Seeds Carlton is on the hunt for an experienced and passionate fulltime Assistant Pastry Chef to join our ambitious and energetic team. If you have a strong eye for detail, a flair for creativity, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you!

What we are looking for:

· Minimum 3 years working as a pastry chef.

· Ability to work independently and within a small team

· Experience working with laminated pastries with precision and consistency.

· Manage mixing, sheeting, shaping, proofing, and baking processes.

· Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

· Uphold food safety and sanitation standards.

A good understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and processes.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

· Strong communication skills

Time management and organisation.
