Little Stars Early Learning Centre is a well-established organisation of 10 years, with several services across Victoria. We educate and care for children from 6 weeks through to kindergarten within our community. Our service employs educators and cooks who are committed to Early Childhood Education and have a passion for cooking.

About the positions:

We are seeking a passionate Cook to work at our Pakenham Centre.

You could be part of a dynamic & professional team working in a supportive and stimulating environment with great resources and budgets for everything to do with food.

The successful candidates will:

- be reliable, motivated, have a genuine interest in cooking

- have excellent communication skills

- be flexible in your work environment and have the ability to work in a team

- be available 5 days per week between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm

- be a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who is willing to contribute to our fun, educational and engaging program

- be committed to continuous improvement, open feedback and professional development.

You will be working with a positive, caring, dedicated and supportive team in a Centre with a focus on wellbeing and where we encourage teamwork and communication. We value curiosity, enthusiasm, wellbeing, inclusion and professionalism.

Our Educators and cooks are highly valued and supported in their work with children and their lives. We offer 50% discounted childcare gap fees for educators/cooks and opportunities to participate in social and fundraising events.

You will also be required to have a current Food Supervisor Certificate, Food Handlers, Do food safety, and Working with Children Check (Employee).
