We're on the hunt for a passionate part-time chef/cook to join the team at Taylor Made Gourmet!

This role is part-time – 12 hours per week (4 hours on Tuesdays and 8 hours on Thursdays), with a view to additional hours as the role evolves.

We’re a catering company based in the Northern Suburbs, and our work is wonderfully diverse - from small boardroom meetings to large stand-up cocktail events. We pride ourselves on delivering delicious food and an incredible customer experience, and we’re looking for someone to bring their love of cooking into our dynamic kitchen.

You’ll be preparing nutritious meals for professional athletes and assisting with other on-site catering jobs as required.

With our menus constantly changing, we’re after someone who’s enthusiastic, creative, and excited by variety – no two days are ever the same here.

Your responsibilities will include:

Cooking nutrient-dense meals for professional athletes

Following menu plans and dietary requirements

Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation

Managing kitchen inventory and supplies (as needed)

Keeping your workspace clean, safe, and organized

Communicating effectively with the team

What we're looking for:

Proven experience as a chef or cook

Strong understanding of food safety practices

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

Great multitasking and time management skills

A positive attitude and team-player mindset
