About the role

We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated Club Coordinator to support our Club Manager in leading day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional experiences to our members.

In this leadership role, you’ll oversee and support the performance of our Customer Service team, Membership Consultants, Group Fitness Instructors, HYPOXI coaches, Personal Trainers and Fernwood Trainers. You’ll help coordinate the club’s operations, timetables, and services, ensuring every shift runs smoothly and every member feels valued.

You will also be a key driver of membership sales and lead generation through social media, local area marketing and community outreach.

This is a casual position of 25–35 hours per week, with the intention to progress into a permanent part-time role.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, support and coordinate staff including Group Fitness, Personal Training, Fernwood Trainers, Membership Consultants, HYPOXI coaches and customer service.

Maintain timetables, schedules, and compliance across all fitness services

Assist in operational procedures, administration and member enquiries and maintenance and cleaning protocols

Provide administrative support to the Club Manager, including performance reviews, training, and scheduling

Ensure exceptional customer service and smooth daily operations

Plan and execute local area marketing (LAM) campaigns and outreach

Create engaging content for our social media platforms

Support lead generation and conversion strategies

Coordinate in-club promotions, events and challenges

Build relationships with local businesses and community groups

Assist with sales and club tours, ensuring strong conversion and member engagement

Drive a positive, collaborative team culture that aligns with Fernwood’s values

Promote a clean, safe, and inclusive environment in line with OH&S and Fernwood policies

About you

You're a woman with a hands-on, positive, can-do attitude with great energy!

A can-do, proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic team environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

High level of attention to detail and organisation

Comfortable leading a team and driving performance

Confident in customer-facing roles and passionate about health and wellness

Availability across a 7-day roster, including evenings and some Saturdays

Skills & experience

Certificate III & IV in Fitness (highly regarded)

Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)

Experience supervising or coordinating teams in a health, fitness or service environment

Driven by achieving results for our members, themselves, and the company

Excellent customer service skills and a high level of maturity.

Demonstrated ability to hit sales targets and KPI’s

Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships quickly.

Can drive enquiries in the local area and convert leads to meet targets

Dynamic and creative sales skills; able to identify sales and marketing opportunities

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook
