About the Role:

We are seeking qualified Early Childhood teachers and Diploma Educators for our Long Day Care Service based in Lane Cove. In this role you will:

Contribute, in consultation with the Children, Educational Leader, Team Members & Families, to developing weekly programs appropriate to the individual needs and interests of the children

Maintain the necessary Administration, Programming, child developmental records of children, and the curriculum, as required.

Assist in the observation and evaluation of the children's programs and their individual development.

Assist with the implementation of daily routines.

Positively interact with the children, giving each child individual and appropriate attention as required.

Ensure that children are at all times adequately supervised and Educator ratios are maintained.

Form comforting and nurturing relationships with the children.

Assist with providing a safe, healthy and welcoming environment, maintaining at all times an anti-bias, non-judgmental and confidential service to all children.

Work effectively in a team environment.

About You

We are seeking candidates who are a qualified Early Childhood Educator (Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Masters Degree or any equivalent qualification). You will also need to have:

Previous experience in Childcare, and working with children in the 0-5 year age range.

A current working with Children’s Check

A current First Aid and CPR qualification (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma)

A current qualification in Identifying and responding to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT001)
