About the role

SA Montessori is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Teachers (ECT) and a Diploma qualified Educator to join our team in Adelaide. As an ECT and Diploma Educator, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional early childhood education and care to our students. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the intellectual, social and emotional development of young children in a supportive and nurturing environment.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and the Montessori philosophy

Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a stimulating and enriching learning environment

Observe and document children's learning and development, using this information to inform future planning

Communicate effectively with parents and families, building strong partnerships to support each child's progress

Participate in staff meetings, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (for the ECT position)

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this (for the Diploma Educator position)

Experience working in an early childhood education setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues

Demonstrated knowledge of child development, early childhood pedagogy and the ability to create engaging learning experiences

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service

Current First Aid certificate, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management

Satisfactory National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
