Qualifications & experience

Project management or team leadership experience essential

Software development experience preferred

Basic server/network experience

Outstanding organisation and time management skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proactive approach to daily work

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with competing priorities

Strong communication skills, including empathy, negotiation and listening

Ability to collaborate effectively via video conferencing as well as in person

Ability to assess importance of tasks to align with the overall goals of the customer

Effective technical and proposal writing skills

Tasks & responsibilities

Coordinating software development projects with our software development team, ensuring projects are on schedule, and built in line with their scope & design documentation

Liaising with customers to share project progress and gather their feedback

QA testing of mobile and web applications - making sure new features and fixes in apps are working correctly

Managing timelines of projects

Hosting customer update meetings to update them on the status of the project and any potential roadblocks, take minutes of meeting and demo any recent changes

Hosting internal meetings to take minutes, assign work, discuss priorities, receive updates and listen to the team

Ensure all customer requests are logged and prioritised in accordance with the project goals

Communicate with your development team to keep them updated on any changes from the stakeholders

Communicate with the UX Designer to convey requirements and provide feedback on designs, in line with client requirements

Managing projects in Jira including identifying priority tickets, drafting the next sprint worth of work, and liaising with the Senior Developer for allocations based on availability and skills

Lead customer engagement to test the product when ready for feedback

Conducting training with the stakeholders

Creating and managing project documentation so all user-facing functions are recorded in a way that the customer’s team and other developers can read through to understand how the product works

Working closely with other Project Managers and Senior Developers to manage competing priorities and allocation of developers

Reporting project progress in regular team meetings so everyone is aware of high level changes or requests which differ from the original scope

Ensure all phases of projects, including customer sign off, review and feedback are part of standard project practice

Working Hours

Work from home option, up to 4 days a week after onboarding

Hours will be flexible, with the option to start between 8AM and 10AM, at your preference

The role will be full time - Monday to Friday

Office is located in Springwood, Brisbane, Queensland

Initially 5 days in the office during your onboarding period

Confidentiality

You will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement at the beginning of this role. This agreement is to protect our clients’ confidential information, which you will have access to as part of your role.

You will be privy to certain confidential information and trade secrets as part of this role, and the strictest adherence to this confidentiality agreement will be required and enforced.
