Personal Assistant (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)
Hourly Rate: $25–$35
Location: Kanahooka, NSW
A warm and professional psychologist is seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Personal Assistant to support both administrative and general support tasks. This is a flexible part-time position with room to grow, ideal for university students, parents, or anyone seeking a meaningful role with adaptable hours.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting a psychology practice by handling administrative responsibilities and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. This varied role includes correspondence management, client liaising, event planning support, and the preparation of flyers and materials to advertise services. From time to time, you may be asked to assist with ad-hoc personal or professional tasks to help keep things organised and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain digital records with strict confidentiality
Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars
Handle professional correspondence (emails, letters, etc.)
Prepare simple marketing materials such as flyers or service announcements
Support event planning and execution
Maintain office and kitchen supplies and ensure a clean, functional office environment
Liaise with clients and manage client queries with tact and professionalism
Undertake general administrative and occasional ad-hoc duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Strong computer skills and proficiency with digital tools
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently
Demonstrated initiative, loyalty, and absolute discretion with confidential material
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build effective working relationships, internally and externally
A flexible and adaptable approach to a varied workload
Highly regarded (but Not Required)
A university degree (completed or in progress)
Previous administrative or office experience
Familiarity with Xero, Halaxy, or Wix software
Experience with advertising, marketing, or YouTube content creation
Working Hours
Flexible options: Choose a standard 7.5-hour day OR shorter shifts (e.g., 2 days per week, 4 hours each)
Work days may fall on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday
