About the role

Farrell Transport Group is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our dynamic team based in Pimpama, Queensland. This full-time role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and achieve key targets. As the Sales Manager, you will be a strategic leader, motivating and guiding a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals

Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of sales professionals to maximise their performance

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the client base

Negotiating and closing sales contracts with new and existing clients

Analysing sales data and market trends to inform business decisions

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients

Providing regular reporting on sales activities and performance to both the General Manager & Directors

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales management role, preferably within the Civil & Construction industry

Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and growing market share

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Proficient in data analysis and using sales metrics to drive performance

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or a related field is desirable
