The Role
We’re searching for an experienced Internal Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. If you’re passionate about providing exceptional customer service and enjoy a collaborative team environment, then this is the role for you!
This role is designed to deliver the company sales strategy and key business outcomes through role-modelling of what excellent customer service looks like, along with leading and developing a small number of direct reports.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Oversee and execute sales related enquiries, quotations, order processing and control measures to meet internal and external customer requirements
Manage and monitor all sales order processes including but not limited to preparation of quotations, acceptance of purchase orders, active sourcing of products and services, logistics and customer receipt
Manage and grow a portfolio of internal accounts - maintaining and building a loyal customer base through continually improving the customer expectations and exceeding requirements
Assist the business in meeting or exceeding predetermined sales revenue and margin targets
Maintain and foster internal relationships with expediting and purchasing teams
Participate and contribute meaningful intel pertaining to customers, pipeline, forecasts and strategy at sales meetings
Coordinate & Schedule regular team meetings to ensure activity and responsiveness of the Internal Sales Team. Set sales team KPI's that motivate and drive successful business outcomes
What you will need to be successful:
Technical understanding of the sales function and methodology
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on effective listening and tactful questioning to understand customer requirements.
Positive mindset with excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong time & task management skills
Competitive nature and hunger for sales
Natural collaborator and inclination to contribute effectively and lead a team
Aptitude in astute decision-making and problem solving within time sensitive environment
Previous demonstrable experience in team management in a sale's related environment
