About the company/role:
Our client is a leader in the field of medical devices and is very close to the launch of a new product. We are looking for a Facilities Lead to support in the daily management of the team, initiatives and projects as well as overarching support and guidance to the Laboratories across the sites.

Responsibilities include:

• Support in coordinating services to all the laboratories and production spaces and ensure that maintenance and required works meet the needs of the business
• Equipment and asset management within all the laboratory, workshop and production spaces -calibration, servicing and maintenance of all equipment
• Support in the development of laboratory planning, layouts, operation and best practice for continual improvements, safety, efficiency and GLP
• In charge of the chemical managment system of the site - administration records and documentation, compliance, training and annual stock take/audits
• Responsible for all laboratory/workshop and production inductions including administration and documentation management and continual improvements
• Manage the designated Facilities and Property Projects Team helpdesk requests, team meetings and functions including providing guidance and training to team members
• Support with continual development/improvement/optimization of processes and procedures relating to the role and team.
• Generation and provision of reports and metrics as required.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a Lab Manager (ideally within a PC2 Lab)
• Experience in laboratory operations, requirements and regulations
• Strong understanding of manufacturing service requirements
• Strong computer skills and great attention to detail
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
