Mayflower is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Brighton on a Full Time basis.
The Finance Manager is responsible for all financial and accounting functions, including budgeting, cash flow management, regulatory compliance, comprehensive financial and compliance reporting.
The Finance Manager provides strategic insights to guide decision-making while leading the finance team, fostering relationships with financial institutions, and meticulously monitoring financial performance and controls. This role is crucial in safeguarding the organisation's fiscal health and ensuring alignment with its strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will have:
Aged Care experience essential
CPA/CA qualified
5 years working as a finance manager
Tech savvy – PBI capabilities highly desired
Experience leading and managing a finance team
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative management team
Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, regulatory and financial reporting, compliance
requirements, and risk management
Excellent accounting software and administration skills
Experience in monitoring and optimising cash flow
Experience managing finance-related projects and initiatives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly
and effectively to non-financial stakeholders
CPA or CA Qualified
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Full 3 COVID vaccinations
Desirable:
• Experience implementing and supporting financial system and process changes across an organisation
