About the position
The Customer Relations Centre is the first point of contact for customers at the City of Wanneroo and delivers a wide range of services across a number of contact channels. To support both our employee and customer experience, the City is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated operational leader with a passion for leadership and service excellence to join our Customer Relations Centre.

Reporting to the Coordinator Customer Relations Centre, this role is accountable for managing the daily operations of the Customer Relations Centre, and supervising a team, through providing direction, guidance and coaching to staff to achieve quality outputs and so that individuals can achieve their very best.

About you
The successful appointee must be an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who has a positive demeanour; works well with others; is well-organised; and who has a passion for leadership and who thrives working in a busy and change driven environment.

Applicants who have previously worked in local government and call centre are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate through a resume and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:

  • Skilled in supervising the work of others, people management, providing technical assistance and support and motivating staff OR has the desire to progress into a leadership position;
  • Advanced organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks;
  • Advanced customer service, communication and problem-solving skills; and
  • Experience in the efficient utilisation of information systems and technology.
