Cazalys is a renowned local venue, recognised for its community achievements. Situated alongside a first-class sporting stadium, 300 machine gaming lounge, coffee shop, restaurant, children’s playroom, a busy sports bar, bingo, and function rooms.

We require an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our busy team in the capacity of Duty Manager. This hands-on role will require outstanding customer service, being able to lead by example and an ability to offer clear direction and supervision to staff.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Directing and overseeing Food and Beverage, Gaming and Reception staff
• Supervising security staff
• Ensuring daily compliance with all liqour and gaming regulations
• Liasing with customers and ensure customer satisfaction in all interactions
• Coordinating staffing daily staff arrangements including shift coverage and reallocation of staff as necessary

• Practical experience in a same or higher role.
• Be able to work a variety of shifts days, weekends and nights until 4am.
• Must have a very high skill level in dealing with conflict and conflict resolution.
• Staff management skills.
• Strong communication and highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Be extremely flexible and able to multi task with a keen attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Accurate cash handling skills.
• High standard of presentation.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks (lifting, pushing, moving and pulling) for any setup requirements.

Skill requirements

• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Manager and First Aid Certificate.
• 3 years expereince in a similar Duty Manager/Food and Beverage manager role
