About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced administrator, ideally with prior experience with accounting or ERP software systems to join our customer support team. Reporting to a Team Leader, you must be able to work autonomously, follow clearly articulated processes and have a clear ambition to develop and progress to more senior responsibilities. We are looking for someone who has experience working in a customer service, admin or accounting role, ideally in the Automotive industry, is a fast learner, and is a great problem solver.
What You Will Be Doing
As Support Consultant, you will be required to including among other responsibilities:
Diagnose customer issues and rectify or refer for more complex analysis as needed but keep ownership through to close off.
Take customer calls (phone and email) and manage within our issue tracking software package.
Provide rapid response to all calls and close promptly whilst ensuring the customer is satisfied and the issue is resolved.
Ensure any reported bugs can be replicated.
Participate in rigorous training to build product knowledge and constantly review help screens and reference guides.
Provide suggestions to make help screens and reference guides more usable.
Undertake product testing as directed.
Undertake occasional client site visits to build understanding of the environment being supported.
Participate in the preparation of brief client updates to resolve simple, common problems from time to time.
Stay abreast of best practice in customer support.
What You Need to Have
Excellent Administration skills, ideally in an automotive industry or dealership environment - either parts, service or finance/admin
Experience in dealer management or ERP systems
Strong customer focus and an ability to work with customers of all dispositions
Good analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skills
An obvious and keen ability learn and ability to prioritise
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills
A collaborative approach with good interpersonal skills
Well-developed influencing skills
Ability to work autonomously and remotely when required
What It Would be Nice for You to Have
Knowledge of accounting and payroll systems, ideally in an Automotive/Dealership environment
Ability to train and transfer knowledge at a customer and internal level
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a relevant business discipline
