Role:

As a Senior Microsoft Engineer, you’ll be part of a project team who are in the process of modernising and improving our client's Microsoft 365 environment, supporting services such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and more.

Working within the financial services sector, your role will drive the adoption and optimisation of Microsoft 365 tools to improve efficiency, collaboration and communication across the organisation. Your expertise in SharePoint, Viva, OneDrive and Teams will enable teams to optimise productivity, access information with ease and collaborate securely in a modern digital environment.

This role is an initial 9 month day rate contract opportunity with an anticipated early July start date and will work within a dynamic project team who are rapidly moving from design to implementation phase.

Some of the key things you'll do:

• Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions including sites, workflows, and information architecture

• Support users with creating and managing content on SharePoint as part of a SharePoint Intranet implementation

• Lead the deployment and ongoing management of Microsoft Viva suite components to enhance employee experience

• Design, implement and support the transition to Microsoft 365 groups, including governance, naming conventions, and lifecycle management

• Configure and administer Microsoft Teams environments including team creation, permissions, and policies

• Manage OneDrive implementation, security settings, and user training

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 applications

• Develop and maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 solutions and processes

About You:

• 3+ years’ experience managing Microsoft technologies like Active Directory and Exchange

• Proven expertise with SharePoint Online administration, site design, and customization

• Understanding of information architecture best practices

• Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Viva components, in particular Viva Engage and Viva Connections

• Understanding of Teams administration, including policies, governance, and integration with other M365 services.

• Experience with OneDrive for Business management and data lifecycle policies.

• Ability to troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues and provide technical support to users.

• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance best practices in M365.
