Permanent full-time role

We currently have an opportunity for a Property Coordinator to join our Infrastructure and Liveability Department.
In the role of Property Coordinator you will:
- Coordinate Council’s property portfolio to optimise the value of the portfolio to Council
- Provide high level property advice and services to Council, stakeholders & the community
- Effectively manage Council’s property portfolio in accordance with Council’s protocols, policies and plans and relevant legislative requirements
- Assist in projects of a Property Nature
- Work with the Manager in the delivery of major projects.
What we offer...
- Permanent full time, 35 hours per week
- Commencing annual salary from $92,756 to $102,263
(salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience) - Progressive annual salary up to $112,745
- Plus 11.5 % superannuation
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- Tertiary or vocational qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated hands on experience in the areas of property management including leases, licences, easements and road closures
- Excellent verbal communication skills including proven ability to consult, negotiate and mediate
- Demonstrated well developed written communication skills with a strong emphasis on attention to detail in general correspondence
- The ability to prepare policy and procedural documents and detailed reports
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to analyse information
- Sound organisational, time and project management skills to ensure that project timeframes and reporting deadlines are met
- Sound decision making and problem-solving skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in the supervision of staff with the ability to lead & motivate a small team and foster a high performing culture
- Experience in interpreting legislation and legal documents in a Local Government environment related to Council
- A minimum Class C Drivers Licence.
