About the business and the role.

Monkeytoe Group is a Australasian company with offices in Melbourne, Auckland, Hawera, Wellington and Christchurch. We have over 130 staff members with over 50 of these being based in Hawera.

We focus on designing, supplying and installing Aluminium Structures, Egress systems and Mounting Platforms for the New Zealand & AU markets. Our clients range from Architects and Builders nationwide or ones like NZ Refinery in Whangarei and the Aluminium smelter on the Bluff.

• General fabrication covers the common and custom.
• Assembly of XBEAM and Larger structures.
• General helping hand to the remainder of the workshop team.
• Exceptional presentation of your finished goods and your working area.
• Ensure your output aligns with the requirements of the fabrication and assembly teams to keep the factory working effectively.
• Ensure your work is correct according to the instructions or drawings provided and that regular QA checks are performed as and when required.
• Your contribution to the workshop culture and company values.
  

• Competent in reading fabrication drawings
• Competent in Aluminium Welding and fabrication experience required
• Communication

• Understanding of 5S
• Forklift driving experience.
• General workshop knowledge.

• Good English, Understanding of quality control/ assurance systems.
