Greater Hume Council is a large rural Council with a focus on responsibility, growth and sustainability. We are based in southern New South Wales, right near the Murray River, bordering Victoria and the local government areas of Albury, Federation, Lockhart, Snowy Valleys and Wagga Wagga Councils. Our offices are dispersed across Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook and Jindera, all a short drive to the shore of Lake Hume.

About the Position

Council is seeking a dynamic, customer-orientated professional to join its Customer Relations team in a flexible and casual capacity. This position is casual and works on an as needs basis and is dispersed across four (4) office locations including Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook and Jindera, depending on operational requirements. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, consistently delivery high-quality customer service and support.

Due to the casual nature of the position, work may be required across multiple Customer Relations Centres located in Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook and Jindera. Hours of work can vary, with the opportunity to work up to 35 hours per week, depending on availability and operational requirements. The successful applicant will receive a competitive hourly rate of $39.94 (inclusive of a 25% causal loading) in additional to an 11.5% Superannuation contribution from Council.
