About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Outreach Program Coordinator to join the Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV). This is a contract position based in Melbourne, where you will play a vital role impacting the health of rural and Aboriginal communities in regional Victoria.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate and oversee the implementation of key Outreach programs including:
1. Medical Outreach Indigenous Chronic Disease Program (MOICDP)
2. Healthy Ears, Better Hearing – Better Listening (HEBHBL)
3. Ear Health Coordination Program
Liaise with key stakeholders and service providers, to identify needs and co-design responsive strategies
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the successful delivery of RWAV's Outreach programs
Provide support and guidance to new team members and contribute to a positive team culture
Monitor and evaluate the impact your programs, and provide regular progress reports to RWAV executive and funding bodies
Your leadership will ensure these programs are effectively delivered in rural and First Nations communities across Victoria, in collaboration with key stakeholders and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs).
What we're looking for
Relevant tertiary qualification and/or strong experience in health program delivery, project management, or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
Passion for supporting rural and First Nation communities, and a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced in regional areas in Victoria
Tech-savvy with CRM/database experience (salesforce and JobAdder preferred)
A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally
Experience working with ACCOs or in rural health
