Our services at EverAbility Group include:
VisAbility - our specialised service supporting people with blindness or vision impairment.
Guide Dogs WA and Guide Dogs Tasmania – our iconic service raising and training life changing assistance dogs.
Kites Children’s Therapy – our early intervention support, advice and solutions service transforming the lives of children and their families living with disability or developmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities
As our Intake Officer, you will be the first point of contact for new clients seeking support from VisAbility. You will:
- Respond professionally to applications and general enquiries
- Confirm client eligibility and funding access (NDIS, health, aged care, etc.)
- Schedule and follow up on initial appointments
- Liaise with external funders, referrers, and stakeholders
- Accurately manage client information in our systems
- Represent VisAbility at events and engagement opportunities
- Support service access while upholding client privacy and dignity
- Contribute to improving our processes
- Other duties as requested by Management
This is a 12- month fixed-term, full- time position based in Victoria Park, Perth.
