$180k -$200K pa plus Super and up 25% Bonus
Location can be Melbourne/Queensland or Sydney
Intelligent Monitoring Group, is excited to be undertaking rapid growth and as such is seeking a highly experienced Head of People, Culture and Capability. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer this is a rare opportunity to design and implement a People Strategy that drives performance, culture, and capability. Collaborating with senior leaders, you will ensure the strategy aligns with the organization's vision, mission, and goals, fostering a culture of engagement and empowerment. This leadership role will shape strategic workforce initiatives, empowering the organization to achieve its strategic objectives while cultivating an environment where people thrive and deliver impact, whilst being supported by a small dedicated team.
Purpose of the role
Lead the People, Culture and Capability function to drive organizational performance, culture, and transformation aligned with strategic priorities. Provide expert leadership in workforce initiatives, change management, and organizational development, whilst overseeing the support functions of Recruitment, Employee Relations, Organisational Design, Rem & Benefits, Compliance Training, Skills Development, HR Systems and processes.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate within the People & Culture Capability team foster a high-performing team culture, ensuring system alignment and effectiveness with the business;
· Provide strategic leadership and accountability for the development and execution of the People Strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and plans driven by the business units;
· Lead the People, Culture and Capability function to strengthen the performance, leadership, and capability of staff to support the organization's vision and mission;
· Drive contemporary organizational workforce initiatives aimed at improving performance, culture, and achieving organizational goals where productivity, efficiencies and accountability is rewarded ;
· Partner with senior leadership teams to understand business drivers, ensuring strategic initiatives are fit-for-purpose and include robust change management; and
· Advise senior leaders on complex People and Culture issues, offering specialist advice on projects and initiatives.
About you
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading People and Culture at an enterprise/system level, with a proven track record of driving strategic change, fostering leadership, and achieving organizational goals by building the foundations and taking and existing team with you, to offer a partnering and coaching business enablement methodology.
· Proven experience leading People and Culture functions at an enterprise/system level, driving strategic transformation;
· Strong background in organizational development, workforce planning, and performance management in large-scale settings;
· A Master’s degree or Degree in Human Resources, or a related discipline, with significant practical experience;
· Demonstrated expertise in implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational vision, mission, and goals;
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders;
Ability to build the foundations, whilst servicing todays needs, but setting up for the future state
· Ability to lead complex change management initiatives, ensuring effective people-centered transformation; and
· Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment, with necessary documentation
