Acquired in May 2019 by De Bruyn's Transport, Bass Strait Transport have grown to become a leading logistics provider in the Trans Bass market, supported by the largest privately-owned transport company in Tasmania.
As part of our ongoing growth, we are currently seeking a Customer Service / Key Accounts Coordinator to join our team at Altona North. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing key account administration functions while ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
The Role:
As the Customer Service / Key Accounts Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:
Act as the main liaison for major BST customers managing day to day customer service
Providing exceptional service to clients and acting as a key point of contact for escalated enquiries
Overseeing invoicing, account reconciliations, and general accounts support
Monitoring and improving customer service KPIs
Supporting the broader management team with reporting, system improvements, and process enhancements
Liaising with internal departments (transport, operations, and sales) to ensure seamless service delivery
Skills & Experience:
To be considered for this role you will need to have a background in a similar sales role and possess the following experience and skills;
Interstate transport sales experience is essential
A proven self-starter who can work autonomously
Highly organized and with strong attention to detail
Highly skilled knowledge and creating spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel (Word & Powerpoint)
Strong communication skills
Professional appearance and attitude
