Tech Lead - Security Analyst
Location: Melbourne CBD (flexible working arrangements)
Employment Type: Contract - 6 months initially - extensions likely
Rate: up to $1000 per day (inc Super)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead -Security Analyst to lead key cybersecurity initiatives throughout 2025. You will own the design and delivery of critical security projects, provide technical leadership, and ensure robust controls across cloud and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver major cybersecurity projects.
• Lead the development of a Cybersecurity Risk & Controls Matrix across cloud and risk management platforms.
• Establish a Secure Configuration Management Program, including CIS benchmark reporting for OS (Windows 11, macOS 15, Windows Server 2022+, Linux Red Hat 9.5+) and network devices.
• Deploy Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect validated applications from high-rated threats.
• Extend and manage the Internal Certificate Authority for intranet applications and BYOD devices, including certificate rotation and reporting.

About You:

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and technical security leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, cloud security, endpoint security, IAM/PAM, and CIS benchmarks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and risk management skills.
• Ability to quickly assimilate complex environments and deliver practical security solutions.

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are highly regarded.
