ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Finance team is looking for a super organised Bookkeeper with previous background in an accounting firm a plus! We are seeking a highly motivated finance professional to manage the bookkeeping, accounts payable, receivable and payroll for a portfolio of our clients..
You will work closely with our small team in Newcastle and Sydney and our supportive CEO Lisa Andrews who is achieving inspiring work across Australia and internationally. While this role is home based you will occasionally travel to meet with the team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Manage the bookkeeping for a portfolio of our clients including:
Daily and weekly bank account reconciliations
Month end processing and reconciliations
Monthly management reports
Assist with BAS / IAS preparation
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable for a portfolio of clients:
Regular invoicing
Chasing debtors
Processing accounts payable and providing ABA files for payments
3. Manage the payroll for a portfolio of clients:
Weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll processing
Processing superannuation payments
Payroll tax lodgements and reconciliations
Managing leave requests
Processing employee reimbursements
ABOUT YOU:
3 years’ minimum experience in bookkeeping
Certificate 4 in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or undergoing study)
Xero qualified
Proficient in Microsoft Office / G suite
Efficient in creating automation to assist repetitive processes
Keen problem solver
Excellent time management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills aiming to always delight our clients with a high attention to detail.
