About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and professional Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a rapidly growing, dynamic Retail company in a challenging and rewarding role. This is a diverse role requiring the successful candidate to possess a business mindset that allows them to influence outcomes and make independent decisions.
Responsibilities
Supporting the CEO your role would involve:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and correspondence handling.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the CEO and
internal/external stakeholders. - Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for meetings.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes taking, and follow-ups on action items.
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist with special projects, research, and strategic initiatives as required.
- Handle expense reporting and budget tracking for the CEO’s team.
- Support event planning and execution for corporate events, board meetings, and leadership meetings.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned by the CEO.
Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting a C-Suite Executive is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritise and stay one step ahead.
- Display initiative, confidentiality, loyalty, and the capacity/desire to achieve and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Great team player.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills while being extremely flexible.
- Strong technically in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
