This firm is a growing small to mid size organisation in the industrial manufacturing industry with a strong presence in Port Melbourne. Known for its commitment to quality and innovation, the company prides itself on creating a supportive and rewarding work environment. This is a permanent full time role, located in Port Melbourne and initially will be a 5 day on site role.

Description

• Oversee all financial operations for the entire business, for Australia and International business unit
• Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Owner
• Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance
• Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all taxation requirements on a local and national level
• Proficient in the use of XERO software for various financial functions
• Develop and manage financial controls within the organisation

Profile

Key attributes we are looking for:

• End to end finance function management
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• CA/CPA qualification
• Familiarity with the construction process
• Comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
• Hands-on ability to work across AP, AR, and foundational accounting in early stages
• Tenacious, honest, with high integrity - someone confident to challenge or question when needed

Job Offer

• A competitive salary package between $180,000 and $200,000 (inclusive of superannuation)
