Join one of Australia's largest and most respected national AV production companies, assisting to deliver high-impact live events, touring productions, exhibitions and corporate shows. We're on the hunt for a driven and proactive people-driven Operations Manager to lead the NSW Warehouse & Logistics team.
The role:
As the NSW Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and managing a high-performing warehouse team, ensuring the accurate, efficient, and timely dispatch and return of Audio-Visual and Production equipment across multiple events and locations. You’ll collaborate closely with national production teams to make sure the right gear is in the right place, at the right time.
This is a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment, and we're looking for someone who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and has proven experience in the entertainment industry.
- Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring seamless support for productions and events.
- Build and manage a strong, experienced team, with a focus on productivity, safety, and development.
- Plan and forecast equipment and labour requirements to support 100% on-time delivery across all shows.
- Oversee inventory, logistics coordination, and equipment care, ensuring maximum return on investment.
- Train and mentor team members, define clear responsibilities, and conduct performance reviews.
- Uphold workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with OH&S policies.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to maintain effective communication and execution across departments.
- Promote product knowledge and innovation, identifying opportunities to optimise warehouse systems.
- This is a site-based role in Western Sydney — remote work is not available
The Candidate:
- Proven leadership experience in warehouse or logistics roles within the entertainment, lighting, rigging, touring, or event production industries.
- Solid understanding of AV equipment, inventory systems, and show logistics.
- Exceptional organisational and multi-project coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with a keen eye for detail.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality support to live productions.
