Our client is a leading colour technology company for skin, revolutionising the modern tan, they use the highest quality ingredients and the latest innovations to provide the most natural-looking colour. With more than 20 years of experience, our client is the global industry leader of spray tanning, wellness & self-tanning.
The Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and manage the business operations. This role is ideal for a highly skilled leader with experience in managing technical support and operational functions in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, exceptional customer service, and leading a team to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all equipment installations and removals, including training installers and troubleshooting technical issues.
Perform diagnostics on equipment, replacing or repairing defective components as needed.
Apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles to maintain and optimise equipment.
Assist customers in equipment maintenance to prevent malfunctions.
Operations Management:
Oversee all operational activities, including warehousing, inventory management, and product distribution.
Ensure efficient management of spare parts inventory and local manufacturing via contract manufacturers or internal resources.
Manage equipment installation processes, including troubleshooting technical problems.
Collaborate with senior management to drive organisational growth, including preparing and reviewing budgets and financial forecasts.
Implement strategies to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency in operations and technical support.
Manage staffing requirements, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, promotions, and terminations.
Conduct staff appraisals, salary reviews, and monitor employee performance.
Address escalated customer inquiries and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and contract manufacturers.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Maintain a strong understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act 2004.
Your Profile:
Strong technical expertise in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing sunless tanning equipment.
Financial literacy across budgets, project costings, and profit and loss analysis.
Excellent multitasking, time management, and target-achievement skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and delegation abilities.
Analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Professional and efficient time management.
Positive team player who motivates and encourages others.
High attention to detail and innovation-driven.
Accountable, open to feedback, and responsible in all tasks.
Licences:
A current Victorian Driver’s License .
