About the role

RubberGem' is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Site Supervisor to join our team in Port Hedland, WA. In this full-time role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring the efficient and compliant delivery of end of life conveyor belt and tyres from Tier 2 Minining sites to two facilities in Perth.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the activities of a Planner and Trades Assistance to ensure efficient and timely collection of end of life conveyors belt and OTRs from mining sites in Port Hedland and the despatch of same to either of Rubbergem’s two Perth facilities.

Coordinate all facility needs and arrange any necessary maintenance

Arrange for any required maintenance of machinery requirements.

Participate in client meetings and onsite activities.

Monitor and report on productivity, quality, and safety metrics

Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner

Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, championing a Zero Harm Culture.

Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to develop their skills and capabilities

Collaborate with other departments to optimise workflows and processes

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a mining, manufacturing or logistics environment

Strong understanding of CoR compliance

Experience working along side Tier 2 mining companies

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage a team
