Due to continued business growth and internal expansion, our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

**As this role is temporary to permanent, you must have full unrestricted work rights in Australia**

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of accounts payable functions. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team with a strong culture in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Full function accounts payable processing
• Matching, batching, and coding of invoices
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Managing payment runs
• Handling supplier queries and building strong working relationships
• Assisting with month-end processes as required
• Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• Previous experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with construction industry software (desirable but not essential)
• A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
