Seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Officer to manage and support the end-to-end Accounts Payable function. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and paid on time, while also supporting various administrative tasks within the finance department.

ABOUT THE POSITION – Accounts Payable Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team full-time. As an integral member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable duties, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers.

Core duties include

Accurately process a high volume of invoices and ensure they are matched to purchase orders and receipts, adhering to company policies.

Processing monthly credit card transactions into the financial systems.

Build and maintain positive relationships with our suppliers and vendors, handling inquiries and resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

Ensure that all payments are processed on time, and assist in reconciling accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

Assist in month-end closing relating to accounts payable.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procedures. Assist with internal and external audits when required.

Provide basic support to A/R functions as required.

Other duties that are assigned to you by your manager.

ABOUT YOU – Position Requirements

Essential

Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

Demonstrated experience in Business Central software will be highly valued.

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an accounting environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Desirable

Account Receivable experience is highly regarded.
