POSITION OVERVIEW
Join us as a Warehouse and Sales Support Team Member and embrace a dynamic, multifaceted role that integrates hands-on warehouse operations with customer service and sales support.
In this versatile position, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. Your responsibilities will encompass inventory management, order preparation, shipping, and logistics. Additionally, you will meet production deadlines, assemble components, conduct product testing, and operate small machinery as needed to ensure seamless operations.
You will also be tasked with developing and nurturing strong relationships with both existing and potential customers. This dual role will include providing vital sales support by assisting the sales team with invoicing and customer inquiries, accurately processing orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. Additionally, you will maintain up-to-date product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries and offer tailored solutions. Furthermore, you will prepare and issue accurate freight quotations and delivery terms as needed, regularly following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
You will support the achievement of sales targets and performance objectives while collaborating with other departments to provide seamless customer service. Additionally, handling customer complaints professionally and gathering market feedback for the sales and marketing teams will be integral aspects of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Manage all aspects of the warehouse's day-to-day operations, including receiving, dispatching, and storing of goods. Inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Ensure accurate inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
Implement quality control procedures to ensure that products are handled and stored properly to maintain their integrity.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, transactions, and other warehouse-related documentation.
Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
PRODUCTION
Manage the assembly of products and kits
Testing and certification of products.
Operate tools and small machinery.
Continuously evaluate warehouse processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
SALES SUPPORT
Customer service
Inbound telephone and email sales/inquiries
Process customer and supplier orders
Customer invoicing
Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely order processing and resolution of any warehouse-related issues
SAFETY COMPLIANCE
Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety regulations and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Ensuring the warehouse and storage areas are kept clean, organised, and well-maintained
What We’re Looking For:
A proactive and team-oriented individual.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
Previous experience in customer service or warehouse operations is an advantage.
Mechanical aptitude is an advantage for assembly work.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Technical experience within a B2B environment or a strong technical mindset (compressed air or pneumatics experience desirable).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
Computer literacy
Physically fit and capable of performing heavy lifting tasks
Safety focused and results driven
Ability to respond to continual changing of priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and rapport-building ability
