With a history spanning over seven decades and a recent expansion into new locations, the business is now seeking a strategic and hands-on Operations Manager to help lead its next phase of operational growth.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the owners, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations across warehouse, production and retail environments. Working closely with key internal managers, you’ll ensure the smooth delivery of logistics, stock management, customer service, safety, and compliance across all sites. More specifically, your key responsibilities entail the following:
Manage day-to-day operations across warehousing, production and 2 retail locations
Oversee logistics, supply chain coordination and inventory control
Lead and develop warehouse and retail team leaders
Monitor budgets, labour, and costs to meet business and profitability targets
Support the execution of marketing and promotional initiatives
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food regulations
Collaborate with internal functions such as sales, finance, people & culture, and marketing
The ideal candidate
5+ years’ experience in operations leadership, ideally within food, QSR or FMCG
Proven experience managing multi-site operations
Strong capability in inventory systems (DEAR or Cin7 Core experience desirable)
Financial acumen including cost control and budget oversight
Leadership capability with a focus on mentoring and team performance
Clear and confident communicator across all levels
Forklift licence and First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Full driver’s licence and flexibility to travel between sites (all inner city)
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Values-led and people-focused leadership approach
Enjoys working in a high-volume, high-quality service environment
Passionate about process improvement and operational excellence
Must have full working rights in Australia
