Primary Purpose:

As the Leading Hand - Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of hides and the management of the by-products in accordance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. While tannery experience is preferred, supervising or technical supervision experience will also be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing and directing operators

- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

- Reporting safety issues and equipment breakdowns

- Maintaining high housekeeping standards

- Supporting team members in achieving daily targets

- Liaising with the Production Manager and Safety Committees to contribute to improvements

Accountabilities:

- Safety, production throughput, and hide quality

- Team training and competence

- Daily target achievement

- Data recording accuracy

- By-product quality and equipment maintenance
