About our client

Our client is a leading and established Not-For-Profit organisation who support a diverse range of people of need. They are currently looking for a talented Payroll Officer to join their friendly and supportive team, initially coming on board as a temp with a view to permanency.

Responsibilities

• Support the Payroll Specialist with end-to-end payroll
  processing, including data entry, payroll calculations,
  deductions, superannuation and disbursement of funds.
• Process WorkCover payments in consultation with the People
  and Culture team and supply necessary information and
  reconciliation to the insurer.
• Prepare fortnightly payroll reports as identified by the Payroll
  Specialist.
• Respond to payroll enquiries from employees and resolve
  issues promptly.
• Support the preparation of year-end and month end payroll
  processes under guidance of Payroll Specialist.
• Ensure employee data is accurate and up to date, including
  new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.

The successful applicant will have

• Prior experience in a similar payroll processing role
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi task and work within a fast faced environment
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
