The position duties are listed below:

 Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies;

 Preparing financial statements (including statement of profit and loss, balance sheet and

statement of cash flow) for board meeting on a monthly basis;

 Preparing cash flow forecast on a weekly basis;

 Preparing the pay monthly BAS lodgement for GST payable and PAYG withheld;

 Monitoring operating costs and investigating material budget variances on a monthly basis;

 Providing advice on cost saving strategies to management.

 Implementing accounting system and software.

 Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their

compliance with statutory requirements.

 Monitoring and maintaining internal control policies

 Liaising with external auditors and ATO

Qualification and essential skill requirements

 Minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree with Accountant major

 Minimum 3 years working experience in similar role in construction industry

 Experience with an Accounting software desirable

 Strong organisational, attention to detail and data management skills

 Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and

prioritise accordingly
