About the role

At The Bread Spot, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Sales Assistant to join our team in Langwarrin, VIC. As a casual employee, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our busy bakery.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and attentive customer service, answering inquiries and processing sales transactions

Assisting with the preparation and display of a wide range of freshly baked goods, including breads, pastries, and other baked treats, along with barista work.

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the bakery counter and surrounding areas

Restocking and replenishing products as needed to ensure the bakery is well-stocked and inviting

Working collaboratively with the bakery team to support the overall operations

What we're looking for

Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality

Basic food handling and preparation experience, preferably in a retail or bakery environment, along with previous barista skills

Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Good communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
